On Saturday, June 13, Prince Carl Philip married Sofia Hellqvist in a gorgeous wedding at the Royal Palace of Stockholm. It truly was a royal affair as the entire Swedish royal family was there as well as royalty from around the world.
The entire city was decorated for the big event.
After the couple said their "I dos," they took a carriage procession through the city. I was not going to miss the big royal wedding, so we camped out in front of NK department store to catch a glimpse of the newly married royal couple.
It truly turned out to be a royal weekend as Princess Madeleine gave birth to her second child the following Monday.
